Tiny Technologies Enhances Content Creation at Scale: TinyMCE Summer Launch Introduces Suggested Edits, Developer Center, and Image Optimizer

#1 Most Requested Feature Arrives—Suggested Edits Empowers Teams to Collaborate Efficiently Without External Tools

Tiny Technologies today announced a collection of enhancements around its industry-leading rich text editor, TinyMCE, as part of its 2025 Summer Launch. The launch includes TinyMCE 8, the latest release of the trusted WYSIWYG editor component that is used by more than 1.5M developers globally. It includes the highly-anticipated feature, Suggested Edits, increased access to Image Optimizer powered by Uploadcare, and a major upgrade to the developer experience with the launch of the Developer Center.

“Our 2025 Summer Launch provides developer teams the tools and resources they need to build rich content creation and editing experiences,” said Roman Khudonogov, TinyMCE senior director of product. “We help product teams get to market faster without sacrificing quality or control by continuing to prioritize extensibility, easy integration, and powerful out-of-the-box features.”

Key items in this update include:

  • Suggested Edits – to make collaboration easier: The number one most requested feature by TinyMCE customers, Suggested Edits, provides users with a powerful collaboration toolkit that smooths messy content workflows. This feature empowers team collaboration within a single document, removing workflow friction and reducing the risk for errors and mistakes made when utilizing third-party tools to manually sync content updates back into in-app editors. Suggested Edits, along with Comments, Mentions, and Revision History, round out the TinyMCE collaboration suite, transforming how teams create, share, and edit.
  • New Developer Center – to simplify implementation: An industry-first among rich text editors, the new Developer Center solidifies TinyMCE’s position as the market’s most developer-friendly solution for building next-gen content experiences. This robust knowledge center offers developer-focused articles, code snippets, videos, and tutorials, all designed to put useful and helpful guidance at the fingertips of those integrating TinyMCE as a component in their applications.
  • Image Optimizer powered by Uploadcare – now available with self-service plans: TinyMCE’s Image Optimizer is now available with the online subscription Essential and Professional plans. Previously only available through sales-assisted plans, this high-impact feature is now open to all, delivering faster load times, crisp and engaging visuals, and simpler image optimization for developers utilizing self-service plans.

“We’re excited to see TinyMCE bring Image Optimizer powered by Uploadcare to its online offering,” said Igor Debatur, CEO and co-founder, Uploadcare. “All developers can now deliver faster, better-performing images—without the overhead of managing complex optimization pipelines. It’s a smart upgrade that saves time and enhances user experience across the board.”
